Surviving a hard day

Hard days are tough. This is a personal story of dealing with frustration, stress, overwhelm, disappointment, and tough feelings. When sh*t hits the fan, what do we do? The natural tendency is to numb, soothe, avoid, and comfort ourselves… and oftentimes the choices we make are destructive to a degree leaving us feeling miserable and low. So what’s the alternative?
